Also random could just be moving the 5 existing numbers around (1 3 5 7 9), since these 5 numbers may me optimized for this game.

Related to what Tim said, the ball can be warped to pretty much wherever you want by moving the square to where you want while the ball is going in a hole, because then it respawns in the square where you moved it. If numbers were randomized after each time it goes in a hole, or if the square and ball were both warped to another location (ball would still be in the square of course), then it would prevent that trick.

Disappointed

Can be won just be holding the square over the 7 until it goes in three times. would be much more challenging with a bigger field of play, more numbers to avoid, and randomising numbers after every ball.
