Playing this again, I think the abyss should open a little more often as theres a lot of waiting around. You can break, but not stop unless you hit a wall, and since he abyss only opens briefly, I was trying to just sit at the bottom middle wall so I could keep facing the abyss and be near it when it opened. Then I realized the walls are pretty terrible. Breaking while hitting a wall lets you move through the wall and can go out of bounds, but thankfully I was able to turn around and come back. But even accelerating while hitting a wall lets you go move through it, but breaking lets you move faster while over a wall. But yeah, thats the best strategy and youll still be waiting around by doing it.
