For what its worth, responding to the other big comment, difficulty does not seem to change after any level ups, although that was an issue in some older games. Only if you click play again then it goes back to hard. Also I dont think waiting until all the balls stop moving to put the que ball back on the table is a good idea. A lot of the time the que ball wont even be hit or just barely, and Its beneficial to have the option to shoot the ball as fast as possible in a game like this. It would do more harm than good to have to wait longer every time. Also I noticed this game might be harder than some other duplex games because you cant rely on hitting the opponent que ball as much to neutralize them, because if you sink it on accident, it counts as a point for them.

 

We were overdue for a billiard game so its good we got one, but I was hoping it would be 1. less traditional like turning pool, poker pool or something other than normal, duplex or triplex, and 2, easier opponent at least on easy. Although you may benefit from some more missed opponents shots on easy, often the issue in these duplex games is even on easy, the opponent will still always identify the easiest shot to take, and often they are still accurate enough to make it. Plus they will still benefit from some lucky shots anyway. Its to the point where if you can beat easy, there is a very good chance that you are good enough to be hard, and I think difficulties should have difference that that, not just something that barely takes the edge off. Ive been thinking they should have more of a chance to pick a hard shot on easy.

 

You should disable levelling down on those game

 

I generally like Alexa, but this game was not very exciting. In party, because the game was hard I was not. Even in Easy mode, it still took me 42 rounds! It felt like it toggled back to hard at level 7. Maybe it did not but in the end the only way I got through it was by toggling to hard every time I beat a level and toggling to easy at the start of the next. General commentary for the entire pool engine - when the cure ball goes in a pocket, it really should wait until the play stops before going back on the table. That is not the problem I was having, but it does disrupt some plays. I imagine with multiple players at once, defining when the play stops is hard, though.
